Investing in HMOs

HMOs or houses in multiple occupation can return much higher yields than traditional buy-to-lets but they require higher levels of management and converting a property to an HMO can incur significant costs. On top of that, there are many places where local markets are saturated and increasingly local authorities are making things difficult for HMO landlords.
